Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project execution from planning through completion in a design-build environment. You will assist with documentation, scheduling, cost control, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project goals and standards.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced utility construction setting, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, project support, or assistant project management in utility, infrastructure, or heavy civil sectors.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Promote site safety culture; enforce safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist with project tasks: billing, scheduling, coordinating miss-utility requests, safety plans, and meetings.
• Manage project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change logs, daily reports, meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
