Job summary

Strike is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support project managers and field leadership in planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of pipeline and facilities construction projects.

You will help with cost tracking, scheduling, invoicing, budgeting, progress reporting, and document control, ensuring safety and adherence to project requirements while coordinating with vendors and clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
• Analytical, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and listening abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project team members in monitoring contractual commitments and ensure work complies with specifications, drawings, and contract terms.
• Assist with reviewing invoices and applications for payment for accuracy and documentation.
• Assist with project financial reporting, including follow-up on A/R, unbilled items, cost tracking, and weekly updates.
• Support review and maintenance of project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Assist with project closeout activities and post-job reviews to ensure records are complete.
• Maintain accurate project tracking tools and documentation systems.
• Assist with preparing project reports, flow diagrams, layouts, datasheets, and meeting notes.
