Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support coordination of construction projects including new facilities, expansions, and renovations. You will help develop schedules, assign tasks, and define team responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle to keep progress on track.

Work in the field with production crews to understand mechanical systems, assist with cost reviews, and prepare closeout documentation, reports, and analyses under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with project managers to plan work schedules and coordinate project activities.
• Manages daily administrative tasks such as submittals, material requisitions, and RFIs under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Works in the field with production crews to learn about mechanical systems including plumbing, ductwork, piping, and equipment.
• Assists estimators in cost review proposals and learning material takeoff, estimating and pricing procedures for changes to work scope.
• Visits job sites to inspect progress, check job progress, and resolve project and contract issues.
• Coordinates distribution and retrieval of information to and from the project manager, superintendent, general contractor, suppliers, and vendors.
• Drafts and/or edits letters, memos, reports, and procedures as required for review by a Project Manager.
• Communicates all project issues to the appropriate level of management in a timely manner.
