Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and coordinate construction projects, including new facilities, expansions, and renovations.

You will work with the project team, site personnel, and management to ensure smooth execution, develop schedules, assign tasks, and define team responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle. You will assist in cost reviews, learn estimating, visit job sites, and help ensure materials and equipment arrive on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines are mandatory.
• Candidates must have 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication are essential.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach in project support.

Responsibilities

• Plan work schedules and coordinate project activities to ensure timely progress within budget.
• Work in the field with production crews to understand life on the job site and learn mechanical systems.
• Prepare reports, conduct studies, and compile closeout documentation for projects.
• Assist estimators with cost reviews and learn pricing and quantity takeoffs for changes.
• Visit job sites to inspect progress and resolve issues and contract matters.
• Coordinate information flow among project manager, superintendent, GC, suppliers, and vendors.
• Support management in developing relationships with owners, contractors, vendors, and company personnel.
• Draft letters, memos, and procedures for review by a Project Manager.
• Communicate project issues to management in a timely manner.
