M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Project Manager trainee to learn supervising and directing project teams, developing plans and budgets, and managing a comprehensive project plan.

This role involves analyzing data, coordinating with owners and contractors, and supporting change orders on electrical/construction projects. Qualified candidates typically hold a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of construction experience, CPM scheduling skills, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE or related) with 5+ years construction experience.
• Experience on electrical/construction projects valued at multiple millions.
• Familiarity with design drawings, subcontracts and change orders.
• CPM scheduling proficiency and estimating software experience.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day project operations and coordinate teams.
• Identify change orders and ensure timely resolutions.
• Price, track, and manage change orders and cash flow.
• Read blueprints and project specifications accurately.
• Communicate with owners, contractors, and designers to resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates for partially designed projects and finalize project estimates.
• Maintain as-builts and document project conditions.
