Job summary

Molex is seeking an Associate Project Manager, Product Development, to support planning and execution of development and business projects in our Optical Connectivity Group in Lisle, IL.

The role independently handles lower-complexity projects while assisting PMs on larger programs, coordinating cross-functional workstreams and maintaining schedules, risks, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects.
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects across multiple functions.
• Ability to organize work, track deliverables, and manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication across cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks, assess impacts, and escalate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Manage selected lower-complexity projects under general guidance.
• Support Project Managers on larger or more complex programs.
• Own defined project workstreams and coordinate cross-functional deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, actions, and documentation.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear ownership and follow-up.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and mitigation activities.
• Support Product Development Process requirements and phase reviews.
• Prepare project status updates and maintain accurate project and portfolio information.
• Escalate decisions requiring additional authority, resources, or prioritization.
• Support process improvement, governance, systems, and other Project Management team priorities.
