Job summary

Molex is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead global, cross-functional teams from product inception through production. You will mentor teams, drive risk management, and ensure alignment with customer requirements while delivering on schedule and budget.

The role requires strong PM experience in technical environments, willingness to travel, and ability to lead multi-national teams across time zones. This position is on-site in Illinois with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience.
• Experience leading global cross-functional teams and customer-facing programs.
• Willingness to travel 15-25% domestically and internationally.
• Ability to obtain PMP certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Partner to Product Manager to align projects with customer deliverables.
• Lead multiple New Product Development projects for various markets.
• Develop internal & external Project Charters with strategy, scope, financials, schedule.
• Own Project Reporting communication to Management and Customers.
• Perform Project Change Control and Decision Documentation.
• Lead project plan development, management, and closure.
• Own Macro Project Schedules and coordinate Functional Teams.
• Mentor team members in project management principles.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting cost, quality, or timing.
• Collaborate with Suppliers to meet timing, cost and quality targets.
