Job summary

Molex's Optical Connectivity Group is seeking a Project Manager, Product Development to lead planning and execution of development, delivery, and business projects. This role guides initiatives from initiation through launch, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and product management to ensure alignment with customer requirements and Molex processes.

The role reports to the Director, Project Management and can be onsite in Lisle, IL, or Eden Prairie, MN,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience planning, executing, and managing cross-functional projects.
Experience managing new product introduction (NPI) or other product development projects.
Experience with stage/phase-gate, Product Development Process, or similar framework.
Experience developing and managing project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, changes, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from initiation through launch and closure, meeting scope, schedule, cost, quality, and business objectives.
Define scope, milestones, ownership, and execution plans aligned with customer requirements.
Develop and manage schedules, dependencies, and critical paths.
Coordinate execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and product management teams.
Identify resource requirements and escalate conflicts threatening objectives.
