Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks a Business Systems Analyst I to support hardware/software issues across the enterprise. You will diagnose problems, guide users, train end users, and implement technical solutions for company systems including WMS/OMS and related tools.

The role involves learning company software, maintaining tickets, and contributing to process improvements. Some travel may be required, and benefits include medical and life coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technology-related field.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Order Management System (OMS) required.
• SAP WMS experience preferred.
• Experience with shipping software such as a TMS, Parcel or other carrier application preferred.
• Beginning to moderate SQL skillset.
• Experience with DB2 SQL or MySQL preferred.
• Experience working with File Transfer Protocol and API communication methods preferred.
• Beginning XML skillset helpful but not required.
• Experience with PHP and HTML is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide escalated technical software and hardware problem resolution to all computer users by diagnosing and guiding through steps.
• Assist with various computer issues, from minor glitches to major problems with viruses and crashes; provide one-on-one end-user training.
• Provide resolutions for relatively complex issues, with thorough follow-up and education on system capabilities.
• Learn and support all company-specific software solutions.
• Install, troubleshoot, and develop technical solutions for hardware and software issues.
• Act as a technical resource to resolve problems with computer systems.
• Maintain records of data transactions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate urgent problems to appropriate internal resources.
• Read manuals, confer with users, and diagnose issues for technical assistance.
• Create workaround procedures and ensure timely resolutions.
• Document procedures and solutions for help desk issues.
• Answer technical and non-technical user questions.
• Suggest process improvements; assist with reporting and analytics as needed.
