DMK Development Group in Muskegon, Michigan is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee a senior housing project on the waterfront. You will manage daily site operations, help develop schedules, and maintain progress records while coordinating with the Project Manager and team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years leading construction projects and strong safety practices, with reading blueprints and Procore experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Comfort and familiarity with iPad usage is preferred.
• Procore experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on project from start to closeout.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the project site.
• Assist in creating and maintaining schedules for the project.
• Keep updated records of progress through daily field status reports.
• Foster positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, owners, and city officials.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and support team to complete all aspects of the project.
• Perform quality control reviews of materials and work performed.
• Inspect all work completed and take corrective actions.
• Plan inspections and liaise with authorities regarding approvals.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
• Work with safety team to create and maintain a safe working environment.
