DMK Development Group in Muskegon, Michigan, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for a senior housing project on Muskegon Lake. The role oversees site operations, safety, scheduling, and coordination with the project team to deliver an 85,000 sq ft slab-on-grade wood construction.

We value a deadline-driven leader with 2+ years of field experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage field reports and inspections.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading construction projects, Healthcare and Multi Family experience preferred.
• Demonstrates strong safety values and knowledge.
• Reads and interprets construction plans and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Comfort with iPad usage and Procore is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project from start to closeout.
• Manage day-to-day site operations.
• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules.
• Maintain daily field status reports.
• Foster relationships with team members, subcontractors, owners, and city officials.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and support team to complete all aspects of the project.
• Perform quality control reviews of materials and workmanship and take corrective actions.
