DMK Development Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead a senior housing project in Muskegon, Michigan. The role covers on-site leadership, coordination with the project team, safety, and quality control to ensure on-time completion.

You will oversee day-to-day site operations, assist in schedules, and maintain progress records while fostering relationships with subs, owners, and officials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading construction projects (Healthcare/Multi‑Family preferred).
• Must read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project from start to closeout.
• Manage day-to-day site operations.
• Assist in creating and maintaining schedules.
• Keep progress records with field reports.
• Foster relationships with team, subs, owners and officials.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and support team.
• Perform quality control on materials and work.
• Inspect completed work and address issues.
• Plan inspections with authorities for approvals.
• Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment.
• Support safety team to maintain a safe site.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
