Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our interior construction projects in Illinois. The role supports project leadership on office build-outs, tenant improvements, and renovations, ensuring successful delivery from preconstruction through close-out.

You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and teams to manage schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, and documentation, while maintaining strong communication with clients and design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change notices, and shop drawings.
• Attend jobsite meetings and prepare meeting minutes and progress reports.
• Support procurement and manage material deliveries.
• Assist with close-out activities, punch list, and turnover documentation.
• Maintain positive communication with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams.
