Job summary

Edelman is seeking an Assistant Producer to support integrated production across internal agency initiatives and client work in Los Angeles. You will collaborate with your EP, the internal production studio, creatives, and be a support for the integrated production team on larger scale productions.

Your superpowers include communication, organization, and planning, with leadership, good humor and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience producing video, audio, experiences, or post for agency or production company.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiating, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• Supremely detail oriented with the capacity to multi-task and handle priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to develop calendars, status reports etc.

Responsibilities

• Support producers on all production tasks and scale projects.
• Organize director reels, photographer links as requested by lead producer.
• Assist with all productions and tasks of production when asked by a producer; show ambition and enthusiasm.
• Take notes in meetings, share out communications, stay actively engaged.
• Provide quality control of decks and outward-facing communications.
• Become proficient in production tools: build calendars, budgets, caveats and assumptions.
• Lead communication between creatives, production partner vendors, and internal studio on projects you are overseeing.
• Coordinate meetings, production notes, hot sheets, status reports, task lists, and track deadlines/milestones.
• Coordinate with account team to manage workflow and approvals.
• Learn the foundations of production across film, commercials, social and experiential formats.
• Assist in identifying and managing external vendors and freelance talent.
• Organize and document post-project summary meetings.
• Work closely with Senior Producers and EPs on scale projects.
• Research new production partners and practices to share with your team.
