Job summary

Daniel J. Edelman is seeking an Assistant Producer to support integrated production across internal agency initiatives and client work. This role requires collaboration with the EP, internal production studio, and creatives to deliver on large-scale productions.

You will apply strong planning, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate calendars, budgets, and vendor relations, while learning production language and expanding our partner network.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience producing video, audio, experiences, or post for agency or production company.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiating, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• Supremely detail oriented with the capacity to multi-task and handle priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of project management methodology including calendars and status reports.

Responsibilities

• Support producers across integrated production and client work.
• Organize director reels and photographer links for the lead producer.
• Assist with all productions and tasks of production when asked by a producer.
• Take notes in meetings, share out communications, and stay actively engaged.
• Provide quality control of decks and outward-facing communications.
• Learn the production language and build familiarity with tools (calendar, budget, caveats).
• Lead communication between creatives, production partners, and internal studio on projects you oversee.
• Coordinate meetings, production notes, hot sheets, status reports, and milestones.
• Coordinate with account teams to manage workflow and approvals.
• Engage in the craft of all production aspects including film, commercials, social, and experiential.
• Assist in identifying external vendors and freelance talent while building partner knowledge.
• Organize and document post-project summary meetings.
• Work closely with Senior Producers and EPs on scale projects.
• Research new production partners and practices to share with the team.
