IDEA Public Schools is seeking a passionate Special Education RISE teacher to educate students with diverse disabilities in Reading, Writing, Math, History, and adaptive PE. You will support families and provide resources while maintaining high expectations and data-driven progress for each student.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a team, development of IEPs, and involvement in after‑school tutoring as needed, with a strong commitment to IDEA’s mission of college preparation for all

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized education program.
• Active Texas Special Education certification required.
• Experience in a Special Education classroom is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students.
• Develop and implement IEPs for a caseload of students.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching plans accordingly.
• Communicate student progress with families weekly.
• Host tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays as needed.
