Job summary

HDR is seeking an entry-level Real Estate Services Technician I in Boston. You will perform technical services for right-of-way projects, handling property research, title ordering, and data input while supporting the RES team with administrative duties.

The role requires MS Office proficiency and a general background in title or real estate is beneficial. Local candidates preferred; full-time schedule in the Boston area with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level technical services for right-of-way projects as directed.
• Provide technical services including administrative duties, property research, and ordering title.
• Support the RES Team with document preparation and administrative support as needed.
• Input and track data in spreadsheets and/or a database and prepare client reports.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and organization, relevant industry background is beneficial.
• Train in job-appropriate aspects of the right-of-way industry.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Real Estate Services Technician I, we'll count on you to:

• Perform entry-level technical services for right-of-way projects as directed
• Provide technical services including and not limited to administrative duties, property research, and ordering title
• Support the RES Team with document preparation and administrative support as needed
• Input and track data in spreadsheets and/or a database and prepare client reports
• Demonstrate attention to detail and organization, strong editorial and verbal skills. Industry experience such as paralegal, title, mortgage or real estate background is beneficial
• Train in job-appropriate aspects of the right-of-way industry
• Perform other duties as needed

This position is subject to a preemployment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma and some college or equivalent experience
• GIS and database familiarity
• Local candidates preferred

Required Qualifications

• MS Office Suite product experience
• General background-related experience beneficial, including title, paralegal, real estate, real property law or mortgage lending
