Appalachian Field Services is seeking a seasoned Right of Way Supervisor to lead a field team and manage the ROW acquisition process across projects in the eastern United States. This management role requires hands-on acquisition expertise, team leadership, and accountability for project outcomes.

You will supervise 8–10 agents, coordinate with clients, and ensure accurate reporting while mentoring staff and handling complex easement negotiations.

Formación

• 5–7 years of right of way acquisition experience, including experience on electric transmission and/or distribution projects.
• Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring right of way agents or field teams.
• Demonstrated ability to independently negotiate easements and other property rights and to manage complex damage claims.
• Strong understanding of easement acquisition, title research, utility right of way practices, landowner negotiations, and real estate valuation principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, conflict‑resolution, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/database software.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned project areas.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, plan, and manage the right of way process for assigned projects, including right of way determinations and cost estimates for acquiring necessary property rights.
• Oversee and perform the acquisition of land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits, and other documents necessary for the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution lines.
• Remain knowledgeable in real estate values and accepted real estate appraisal practices; advise and assist in establishing a range of fair market values to be used in the acquisition of land and land rights.
• Draft and/or supervise the preparation of documents for rights of entry, damage claims, contracts, easements, licenses, leases, permits, options to purchase, and other documents necessary to acquire adequate rights for the Client's electric transmission and distribution facilities.
• Prepare and issue periodic project reports indicating the status and cost of managed projects; hold responsibility for overall project reporting.
• Communicate closely with the Client and assume additional project responsibilities as required
