Job summary

SEH in Minnesota seeks a skilled right-of-way professional to acquire property rights, easements, and access agreements for transportation projects. You will represent SEH with property owners, agencies, and stakeholders through the acquisition process.

You will conduct property research, review title information, prepare documents, and coordinate with survey, engineering, and legal teams to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Minnesota.
• Ability to obtain a Minnesota Real Estate License within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Acquire property rights, easements, and access agreements for transportation, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects in Minnesota.
• Build relationships with property owners, agencies, and project stakeholders as SEH's primary representative during acquisition.
• Conduct property research, review title information, prepare acquisition documents, and coordinate with survey, engineering, and legal teams.
• Represent SEH at public meetings, stakeholder discussions, and project coordination meetings.
• Track acquisition schedules, maintain project documentation, and support clients through all phases of right-of-way acquisition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and develop into an independent right-of-way professional through training and mentorship.
