Job summary

MAV Project Services in Houston, TX seeks a contract land/easement specialist to interpret easements, review alignment sheets, surveys, and plats, and apply title knowledge. Requires midstream/gathering system experience and GIS familiarity.

The role supports independent work or team collaboration with strong attention to detail and database experience. Eligible candidates must work in the US and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Understand and interpret easements and provisions in newer easements.
• Review alignment sheets, surveys, and plats.
• Maintain and query project databases; ensure data accuracy.
• Basic understanding of title and related processes.
• Experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS or Google Earth preferred.

Job description

**This position is a contract position with the possibility to go perm. Therefore: (1) Candidates must be eligible to permanently work in the US; (2) At minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required for candidates seeking placement in this position**

• Responsible for performing tasks associated with understanding and interpreting easements and the diverse provisions that are in newer easements
• Ability to review and interpret alignment sheets, surveys, and plats
• Has database experience
• Has some title experience (at a minimum, the individual must have a basic understanding of title)
• Has some experience with GIS (Google Earth, ArcGIS, etc.)
• Must have attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently or with a team
• MUST have midstream / gathering system experience
