Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking a Rigging Trainer to plan, deliver, and evaluate technical and safety training across multiple business units. You will lead classrooms, hands-on sessions, and blended learning—teaching rigging fundamentals and safe practices on real job sites.

The role requires at least five years of rigging experience, strong knowledge of ASME/OSHA/MSHA standards, and the ability to travel up to 80% to support field training across locations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of rigging experience with ability to teach rigging standards and safety practices.
• Experience delivering technical or safety training to riggers and craft professionals.
• Knowledge of ASME, OSHA, MSHA, and related federal/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction in rigging practices, equipment selection and use, inspection, hazard recognition, lift preparation, communication, and applicable safety requirements.
• Model correct techniques, observe participants during practical exercises, evaluate performance, and coach learners toward safe, repeatable work habits.
• Coordinate training schedules with hiring, qualification, certification, refresher, and operational needs across multiple business units.
• Maintain accurate training, certification, and qualification records, document learner progress, and communicate results to appropriate leaders.
• Partner with operations, safety, and leadership to validate course content, address performance gaps, and incorporate jobsite lessons.
• Manage competing priorities, frequent travel, and changing operational demands while maintaining a high standard of instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
