Job summary

Guy M. Turner, Inc. is seeking an experienced working foreman/supervisor to lead a rigging and machinery-installation crew in Greensboro, NC. You’ll be on job sites daily, running the crew, loading, lifting, moving, and setting heavy equipment.

Our work is local and regional, with occasional overnight stays for site work. You will travel to different customer sites as needed, primarily day-work, and supervise lifts, read lift plans, and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation experience.
• 2+ years experience in leading a crew or working as a foreman in rigging, machinery moving or machinery installation is required.
• Able to read simple drawings and lift plans.
• Willing to travel, work overtime, and weekends when needed.
• Requires successful background, MVR and drug screening.
• Must currently hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew on machinery-moving, rigging, and installation jobs
• Work hands-on with forklifts, cranes, skates, jacks, and rigging gear
• Plan lifts, give direction, and make sure work is done safely
• Load, move, set, and align machines and equipment
• Read and follow lift plans, drawings, and layouts
• Fill out basic job paperwork and talk with customers as needed
• Travel to different job sites when required
