Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of rigging experience.
• At least 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Significant travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers erecting and operating hoisting machinery and equipment.
• Specify locations for movement and erection of derricks, hoists, and cranes.
• Direct workers in splicing ropes and metal cables for hoisting slings.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision.
• Maintain time records and enforce safety regulations.
• Adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Estimate worker-hour requirements and study schedules.
• Coordinate movement of equipment and materials using signals.
• Identify and respond to dangerous conditions; perform safety inspections.
