Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a General Foreman in Atlanta, GA to supervise rigging and crating for on-site and mobile customers, ensuring safety, timeliness and quality per job requirements.

The role requires 3+ years as a foreman, ability to read technical manuals, strong teamwork, and excellent communication to coordinate crews and reports. Some travel to various job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 3 years of experience as rigging foreman or general foreman.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics.
• English language proficiency; bilingual in English/Spanish helpful but not required.
• Basic computer knowledge with Windows and MS Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rigging and crating tasks and tailor supervisory activities to job specs.
• Ensure customer and MEI requirements are followed; promote teamwork.
• Communicate job scope and provide reports; oversee crews and safety.
• Maintain tools and equipment; train staff and address scheduling issues.
• Travel to job sites frequently and oversee work and personnel.
