Job summary

LGH seeks a mechanically inclined individual to maintain rental hoisting and rigging equipment in Lakeland, FL. You will inspect, repair, and test diverse equipment while supporting safe, ready-to-use rentals.

Requirements include a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license with DOT certification. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) match, and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools is desirable.
• DOT certification required upon commencement of employment (LGH expense).

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect for quality compliance.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test hoisting and rigging equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading and internal transport.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and promptly.
