Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the regional office by maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures to ensure timely completion of projects.

The role requires collaboration with regional leadership, clients, and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines, and to organize and participate in project meetings while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in construction, rigging, or related field helpful.
• Prior project coordinator experience in construction, rigging, or similar industry preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills on Windows; proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent team building and project coordinator skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal leadership.
• Analytical skills with ability to explain data-driven information to staff.
• Goal oriented and deadline driven.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with clients.
• Organized, detail oriented, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Business acumen and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Work with regional leadership to prepare action plans with resources and timelines.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Organize and participate in management or project meetings.
• Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings.
• Take on project tasks, manage changes, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop rigging strategies and coordinate tasks for personnel.
• Ensure adherence to frameworks and maintain project documentation.
• Assess project risks and provide solutions where applicable.
• Uphold MEI Rigging & Crating’s visions and values.
• Assist with material sourcing and procurement.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
