Job summary

ITAC seeks skilled riggers and millwrights to safely assemble, install, and align machinery, reading technical drawings to determine the best approach. You will operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment while complying with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in rigging and millwright work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to rigging and millwright work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Be able to pass Background and Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• Safely rig and lift heavy equipment using a variety of techniques and tools.
• Assemble, install, and align machinery, ensuring components are secured and in proper working order.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, inspecting for wear or damage and making repairs.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to plan and execute project timelines.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine best rigging and millwright approaches.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
