Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced rigging/assembly professional to support industrial construction and maintenance projects in the Baytown area. You will load, secure, and move heavy equipment, work with cranes, and ensure safety across a range of rigging tasks and daily operations.

The role requires knowledge of complex rigging, load charts, and basic blueprint reading, with emphasis on electrical, ladder, and scaffold safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of complex rigging and heavy rigging practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and load charts for lifting operations.
• Familiarity with electrical safety, ladder and scaffold safety, and basic lifting machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material.
• Attaches pulleys, blocks, and slings to crane hooks and overhead structures.
• Directs crane operators and hoisting engineers using signals or communications.
• Sets up braces and rigs hoisting equipment; maintains and inspects tools.
• Sequences rigging changes, loads, and moves safely according to procedures.
• Performs minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
