Job summary

BAUER Equipment America is a leading provider of foundational drilling equipment with offices across the United States. We seek a Rig Technician for Conroe, TX to diagnose, assemble, modify and repair Bauer's foundation equipment, with periodic travel to job sites.

You will report to the Director of Service and work primarily from Conroe or Livermore, CA, ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction while maintaining and testing rigs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred in a related mechanical field.
• Minimum 2 years of directly related training or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspects equipment for damages.
• Operationally tests equipment and/or components.
• Cleans equipment.
• Looks up and orders parts.
• Rigs, lifts, and/or moves equipment and/or components.
• Disassembles and assembles equipment and/or components.
• Diagnoses and corrects malfunctions in the shop or field.
• Travels domestically and internationally.
• Maintains the work area and yard in a clean and orderly manner.
• Practice occupational and professional safety procedures and actively ensure and contribute to a safe work environment
• Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor.
