Job summary

National Oilfield Services LLC seeks a Righand to support rig maintenance and day-to-day operation of service rigs in Midland, TX. You will work under the Rig Operator and alongside a crew, performing maintenance, pipe handling, and rig-up/down tasks as needed.

The role requires experience on service/workover rigs, knowledge of well-control procedures, and strong teamwork. The position is full-time with potential overtime in a demanding field setting, emphasizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience on service/workover rigs preferred.
• Experience on Double/Triple and/or Double Pole Rigs preferred.
• Experience handling tubing, rods, and other downhole equipment.
• Experience using power tongs, elevators, slips, and other workover rig equipment.
• Ability to assist with pulling and running tubing and rods.
• Ability to assist with rig-up and rig-down operations.
• Basic knowledge of service/workover rig operations and procedures.
• Basic understanding of well-control and pressure-control procedures.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain rigs and associated equipment.
• Load/unload pipe and assist rig movement.
• Perform routine maintenance on draw works and rig systems.
• Respond to emergencies including gas detection and equipment failures.
• Set up rig for workover and prepare for operations.
• Assist with pulling and running tubing/rods and rig-up/down tasks.
• Diagnose well problems and support safety procedures on site.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
