Job summary

QXO is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, assemble and install equipment across locations. The role requires travel, independent work with minimal supervision, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while adhering to safety standards.

You will operate welding and shop tools, read blueprints, and apply 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience. A Machine Tool Technology Degree or similar certification is preferred, and a valid driver's

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, assemble and install equipment items such as Graco plural and single component machines; compressors; gas and diesel- powered Generators; air dryer systems and insulation processing equipment.
• Willing to perform incidental welding and incidental metal work when repairing equipment.
• Ability to travel and safely work independently with minimal supervision.
• Operate and maintain a complete set of hand, power and shop tools, welding equipment, measuring instruments and special mechanical equipment and tools.
• Operate, maintain and transport trucks and trailers as needed.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum of 4 years industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Machine Tool Technology Degree or similar technical school certification preferred.
• Good working knowledge of shop manuals, mathematics and blueprints.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Travel Requirements

Employees will be required to drive between various locations. Must be able to travel by various means of transport, airplane, train, auto or boat. This position also requires overnight travel.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range $20.00 - $40.00
