Job summary

Ranger Energy Services is seeking a Derrick Hand to monitor and maintain procedures for the daily operations of the well servicing rig. The role involves assisting in rigging up and down, handling tubing, working on the rig floor, and helping operate the rig when needed.

You will perform inspections of fall arrest systems, harnesses, derricks, and hoisting components; participate in JSA and tailgate meetings; maintain equipment cleanliness, and support lubrication and minor adjustments.

Qualifications

• Experience on well servicing rigs preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license, CDL, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to perform floor hand duties and assist on rig operations.
• Ability to perform manual labor and operate well servicing equipment.
• Knowledge of running tongs and related equipment.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain procedures for daily well servicing rig operations.
• Assist in rigging up and down, and handling tubing and equipment as needed.
• Work on the rig floor and assist in operating the rig when required.
• Perform inspections of fall arrest systems, derrick, and hoisting components.
