Job summary

Ranger Energy Services seeks a Derrick Hand to monitor and maintain daily rig operations on a well servicing rig. You will assist in rigging up and down, tubing handling, and floor duties, while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The role requires experience on a well servicing rig, familiarity with pump/tank operations, and the ability to perform manual labor. A valid CDL or ability to obtain one is needed, along with strong communication in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience on a well servicing rig preferred.
• Must be familiar with pump and tank operations.
• Must have a valid state driver's license, CDL, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to perform manual labor and operate rig equipment.
• Knowledge of running tongs and other rig equipment.
• Competent communication and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain proper procedures of daily rig operations.
• Assist in rigging up and down, tubing handling, and rig floor duties.
• Operate the Geronimo and other equipment as required.
• Participate in safety briefings, JSA, and site meetings.
• Keep work site and tools clean and in good working order.
• Report incidents and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Support day-to-day lubrication and minor adjustments of equipment.
