Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation, a field operator in the Appalachian Basin, seeks a Rig Hands Supervisor to lead a crew on-site, manage daily operations, and uphold safety and quality standards. The role requires hands-on rigging, safety oversight, and coordination with maintenance personnel.

The ideal candidate has experience in plugging operations or oil and gas, strong teamwork, and the ability to travel for assignments. Excellent reliability and adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required; CDL preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in plugging operations and/or gas and oil industry preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience as a rig hand preferred.
• Experience with downhole fishing, milling, drilling, etc.
• Experience with maintenance on service rig and pumping equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work out of town frequently.
• Knowledge of H2S gas and basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a minimum of two direct reports (rig hands).
• Participate in hiring for new rig hands.
• Train and mentor new/inexperienced rig hands.
• Ensure the team is on site on time, follows procedures, and performs duties.
• Review and submit time worked for rig hands daily.
• Conduct and track safety analyses and ensure safe working conditions.
