Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks a hands-on supervisor for rig operations in the Appalachian Basin. You will lead a small crew, supervise daily tasks, and ensure safety and adherence to procedures across all on-site activities.

Applicants should have 2+ years as a rig hand and 3–5 years in plugging or related oil/gas work, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• CDL preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in plugging operations and/or gas and oil industry.
• 2+ years’ experience as a rig hand.
• Experience with downhole fishing, milling, drilling, etc.
• Experience with maintenance on service rig, pumping equipment, and all other equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work out of town on a frequent basis.
• Knowledge with H2S Gas.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a minimum of two direct reports (rig hands).
• Participate in hiring for new rig hands and mentor staff.
• Ensure on-site crew is on time and adheres to procedures.
• Review and submit time worked for rig hands daily.
• Operate service rig, rig up/down, and related equipment safely.
• Conduct JSAs with Next LVL and third parties; monitor safety.
• Report near misses and injuries; document incidents.
• Schedule and supervise support services on location.
• Provide site updates to the Plugging Manager.
