Job summary

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a hands-on Rides Technician for the Peppa Pig Theme Park in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will inspect, maintain, and repair rides, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and perform daily inspections to ensure guest safety.

Ideal candidates have mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or technician experience, with a focus on safety and problem solving. The role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays and may involve indoor/outdoor work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Previous maintenance or technician experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair rides and attraction equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily ride inspections.
• Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Complete maintenance logs and work orders accurately.
• Help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
