Job summary

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a hands-on Rides Technician for the Peppa Pig Theme Park in Dallas/Fort Worth. You will inspect, maintain, and repair rides and attraction equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and perform daily inspections to ensure safety and minimal downtime.

Ideal candidates have maintenance or technician experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work flexible hours in an indoor/outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Previous maintenance or technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair rides and attraction equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily ride inspections.
• Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Work with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Follow ride manufacturer maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Complete maintenance logs and work orders accurately.

Help keep the rides running safely while working behind the scenes in a fast-paced attraction environment.

What You’ll Do:
