Job summary

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a proactive Rides Technician for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will inspect, maintain, and repair rides and attraction equipment, diagnosing issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

This role supports safe operation in a busy theme park environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance or technician experience, is comfortable working indoors and outdoors, and can handle weekend and holiday shifts with a strong focus on

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Previous maintenance or technician experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair rides and attraction equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily ride inspections.
• Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Work with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Follow ride manufacturer maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Complete maintenance logs and work orders accurately.
• Help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.

Rides Technician - Peppa Pig Theme Park Dallas/Fort Worth

Help keep the rides running safely while working behind the scenes in a fast-paced attraction environment.

We’re looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, fixing equipment, and solving problems in real time. If you have maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or technician experience and enjoy working with your hands — this could be a great opportunity to grow your technical career.

What You’ll Do:
