Job summary

Kennywood is seeking a Rides Maintenance Assistant to support repair and upkeep of park attractions and property. You will work with experienced mechanics on ride tear downs, winter rehab, and daily maintenance tasks to ensure safe operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year maintenance experience preferred, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints. A flexible schedule and strong mechanical aptitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 1+ year maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safe tool use.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair and maintenance of park property.
• Assist the maintenance team with park attractions.
• Support ride operation, maintenance, and cleanup.
• Assist in cleaning of tools or parts.
• Assist with ride tear down and winter rehab under supervision of experienced mechanics.
• Accountable for tools and materials.
• Create and maintain a detailed part inventory.
• Keep the maintenance shop and lot clean and organized.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
