Job summary
NBCUniversal in Hollywood seeks a Technical Manager – Entertainment Technical to lead planning, development, and delivery of entertainment projects, live shows, and events. You will coordinate across Entertainment, Technical Services, Creative, Operations, Safety, vendors, and regulators to ensure safe, efficient execution aligned with creative intent and budgets.
The role requires overseeing design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with codes, and delivering high-quality experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 7+ years in special events/themed entertainment/live shows.
- 3+ years of leadership of projects/teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, development, and execution of entertainment projects, events, and activations.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet creative, operational, financial, and schedule goals.
- Direct and manage all technical aspects from concept through turnover.
- Identify risks and drive mitigation and resolution.
- Provide technical leadership across show, electrical, audio/video and architectural systems.
