Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking a Project Manager to join the Rider Experience team at the Maryland Transit Administration. This role focuses on planning, delivery, and human-centered design to improve rider experiences across agency initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional work with marketing, data analysis, operations and stakeholders, shaping frameworks and workflows, and ensuring projects align with MTA goals while advancing internal systems and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field as stated.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Agile or Scrum Master certifications are desirable.
• PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
• Familiarity with transit/public transportation challenges.
• Experience coordinating digital/print project deliverables.
• Strong partnerships and stakeholder Liaison abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and manage implementation and delivery of assigned projects aligned with MTA goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for successful outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans to meet project goals.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project initiatives.
• Build, refine, and scale internal systems (e.g., Notion) to enhance efficiency.
