Job summary

STV is seeking a Project Manager with alternative delivery experience to lead Maryland Transit modernization efforts. You will guide multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with stakeholders to advance a signature public transport program.

This role emphasizes design-build delivery, scope and risk management, and close coordination with MTA, MDOT, utilities, and local agencies. A PE license is preferred, with Maryland licensure or the ability to obtain licensure strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience leading complex transportation, transit, rail, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading projects for MTA, MDOT, FTA-funded programs, or similar public transportation agencies.
• PE license preferred; Maryland licensure or ability to obtain Maryland licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design-build teams in an owners representative role through preliminary and final engineering, construction, and closeout.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, technical delivery, and partner coordination.
• Coordinate with MTA, local jurisdictions, utilities, community stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide clear communication, sound judgment, and steady leadership to a visible public infrastructure program.
