Job summary

Sesame Place seeks enthusiastic Ambassadors to join our team for ride maintenance and guest service roles. You will conduct daily ride inspections, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

We emphasize safety and teamwork. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain park driver’s license.
• Ability to provide and use basic hand tools.
• Ability to pass ride competency tests and obtain certification.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities.
• Ability to walk uphill and work on heights above 150 feet.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather.
• Flexibility in working varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily ride inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services.
• Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
• Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations.
