Job summary

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is seeking a Maintenance Ride Technician I to support daily ride inspections, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. You will work to ensure guest safety and park operations while upholding safety standards.

This role requires climbing, lifting, and working at heights, flexibility for weekends and holidays, and the ability to ride rides for inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass ride competency tests and obtain certification.
• Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily ride inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services.
• Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
• Practice safe work habits and use PPE.
