Job summary

Universal Kids Resort is seeking an experienced technician to maintain ride vehicles, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and participate in annual inspections. You will disassemble, repair, and replace mechanical components, document work, and support safety and quality standards across central services.

Training is provided for new technicians, with varied hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in fiberglass repair, automotive paint, mechanics, welding or hydraulics.
• Ability to work in a team environment; strong attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, repairs and replacements for mechanical components during annual inspections.
• Create work orders and ensure quality control and NDT requirements are met.
• Assist with resort-wide repairs and maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Document findings and labor in Maximo; follow safety and environmental policies.
• Train new technicians and support seasonal maintenance initiatives.
