Job summary

Universal Studios Orlando is seeking a technical manager for ride and show systems. You will oversee budget and schedule for a single contract, guiding design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of animated figures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in theme park technical/engineering roles supporting animated figure equipment.
• 1+ year project experience in scenic/entertainment/theme park industry.
• Ability to manage vendors through bid, design, manufacture, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor bids, design, fabrication, testing and commissioning of figures systems.
• Provide technical guidance and manage contracts and changes.
• Translate creative intent into technical documents for bids and schedules.
• Support Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities as assigned.
