RIDE Mobility is currently hiring an Electrical Transit Bus, School Bus, Trucks Technical Trainer to join their team in Pasadena, CA. This full-time position requires a skilled individual with extensive knowledge of electric vehicles and a passion for delivering high-quality technical training to various stakeholders.
As a Traveling Trainer, you will spend a significant amount of time traveling nationwide, providing hands-on training on electric buses and ensuring participants gain essential knowledge for safe and efficient operations.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Electrical Transit Bus, School Bus, Trucks Technical Trainer to join our dynamic team. This role requires an expert with a deep understanding of electric vehicles and their electrical systems, who can deliver high‑quality technical training to transit operators, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders across various locations. As a Traveling Trainer, you will spend approximately 50% to 75% of your time traveling to transit agencies, depots, training sites, and RIDE facilities to support lesson development and instructor‑led activities.
The primary goal of a technical trainer is to deliver virtual, on‑site, hands‑on training, ensuring that participants are equipped with the knowledge to operate and maintain electric trucks and buses safely and efficiently.
Training Delivery: Lead in‑person technical training sessions on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electric transit buses, with a focus on electrical systems, battery management, propulsion systems, and charging infrastructure.
Nationwide (50% -75% Travel Required) and Local within 150 miles radius from home office location using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement).
