Job summary

Traders Village Houston is seeking a Ride Operator for weekend shifts to provide a safe and enjoyable amusement ride experience for guests, especially children. You will be trained and must be at least 17 years old, with the ability to stand for long hours in heat, maintaining a friendly, customer-service mindset.

Role requires following ride policies, lifting up to 35 lbs, and delivering attentive service while supervising guests during operation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• No prior experience necessary — training provided.
• Must complete a two-week ride-training program and pass the written test.
• Must be available to work every weekend.
• Ability to lift and push a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Must be patient with children.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long hours, walk long distances, bend, stoop, and work in both heat and cold.
