Carowinds is seeking a Ride Mechanic II - Industrial Maintenance to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and rehabilitate a variety of amusement rides and attractions. The role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.

Responsibilities include maintaining gearboxes, chains, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, wire rope, hoists, brakes, pumps, and bearings, with emphasis on safety while working at height. Strong paperwork and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of control processors, components, and networks used in real-time industrial apps.
• Proficient reading of blueprints (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and technical docs.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills for ride maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and rehabilitation of amusement rides and attractions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and take corrective action.
• Document all repairs and inspections accurately, and submit paperwork to supervision on time.
• Read and apply information from manuals; read blueprints accurately.
