Job summary

Six Flags is seeking a Full-Time Ride Mechanic at Dorney Park to inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of amusement rides. The role requires training and certification for inspections, with duties including troubleshooting mechanical systems and ensuring safe operation at heights up to 300 feet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent requirement.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• State Ride Inspector certification within one year (training provided).
• 2–4 years mechanical experience; amusement/industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections of rides and related equipment.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and tests.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; replace major components as needed.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate ride status in writing.
